HOW YOU CAN HELP
Rohingya Refugees Support
More than a million Rohingya refugees endure the harsh conditions of makeshift camps, pieced together with bamboo and plastic. These persecuted Muslims, escaping ethnic cleansing in Myanmar, fled to Bangladesh with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They are wholly reliant on humanitarian aid for their survival, including shelter, food, clothing, healthcare, and education for their children. However, the sheer magnitude of this crisis overwhelms both international and local aid agencies. BASMAH, recognizing the urgency of the situation, has stepped in to provide critical assistance. Since the crisis erupted in 2017, BASMAH has been on the ground within the camps, offering a range of essential services and programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of the Rohingya community.
