Bangladesh is one of the world’s most densely populated countries; home to 164 million people in an area the size of the state of Illinois. Economic inequality is very high, about 32 percent that is 50 million people still live in extreme poverty. People who live from hand to mouth are struggling for food. The situation is aggravated by the Covid-19 surge and economic crisis. Moreover, there is often natural disasters & calamities. Poor people, homeless parents with children are seen living in the streets, railway stations. While we are blessed with food on the table, millions are struggling to manage a meal for their families in Bangladesh. After providing food for a slum dweller, he said, “It is hard to manage one meal a day let alone two meals for the family.
