Basmah Michigan Activities
1.Full-Time Hifz and Academic program
Founded in 2017, BASMAH has been committed to supporting Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and the USA, as well as assisting numerous underserved communities in Bangladesh. Globally, BASMAH strives to provide emergency aid to communities in crisis, ensuring they receive the essential support necessary for their survival.
In 2023, our board members made a strategic decision to concentrate our efforts on refugees and individuals in need within the USA, particularly in the areas of education and development.
In 2023, BASMAH launched a full-time Hifz program in the Detroit and Hamtramck areas. Alhamdulillah, we are proud to currently sponsor a Hifz program that serves only 20 students at Muhammadia Madrasah & Masjid, located at 4541 Garvin St, Detroit, MI 48212. Each sponsorship costs $100, totaling $2,000 per month. This funding is generously provided by donors and supplemented by BASMAH’s own resources.

We like to announce that, we plan to expand our efforts by initiating food distribution initiatives in the Detroit and Hamtramck areas of Michigan to support individuals facing hunger and those in need.
