Donate your Aqiqah with BASMAH
When a child is born, it is a sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to sacrifice livestock and divide the meat between friends and relatives, as well as to community members in need. This is called Aqiqah, and it is a virtuous act in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave an Aqiqah to his 2 beloved grandsons, Imam al-Hasan and Imam al-Husain (peace be upon them).

Aqiqah
Aisha (RA) narrated that the Prophet ๏ทบ said:
โSlaughter two comparable sheep for a male newborn and one sheep for a female.โ [Tirmidhi]
Aqiqah is a blessed Sunnah of the Prophet ๏ทบ, a way of expressing gratitude to Allah for the gift of a child and sharing joy with those in need.
Through BASMAH, you can perform your Aqiqah on behalf of your newborn and help provide nutritious meat to Rohingya refugees and poor families in Bangladesh who rarely experience such meals.

Its aim is to help vulnerable families who do not always know where their next meal is coming from, and to provide relief and lift their spirits as they face challenging circumstances.
ย
In many countries, meat is particularly expensive and is out of reach for those in need. Therefore, many greatly value the chance to cook meat for their families.
ย
BASMAH staff distribute fresh meat packs to the most vulnerable members of the community, such as widowed women, children, older people and those who have been forced to flee their homes.
