Clinic Locations
BASMAH has established clinics to serve the Rohingya refugees at the following locations in Bangladesh: Camp 26, Block H2, West Leda in Teknaf Camp 14 in Ukhia, Coxโs Bazar district Near Camp 13 in Ukhia, Coxโs Bazar district
Addressing a Critical Need
The massive population of Rohingya refugees has limited access to healthcare. Their challenging living conditions, with a lack of hygienic and sanitary quality, make them highly vulnerable to disease outbreaks.
Everyday Medical Services
Every day, hundreds of Rohingya patientsโincluding women, men, children, and the elderlyโreceive a wide range of free services at the clinics. These services include essential medical care, free medicines, urgent care, and health advice.
Clinic Operations
BASMAHโs medical clinics are staffed by 5 doctors and 15 support staff members and volunteers. The medical project is officially approved by the Government of Bangladeshโs NGO Affairs Bureau, ensuring its legitimacy and commitment to serving the community.
