Across Bangladesh and within the Rohingya refugee camps, countless childrenโespecially orphansโface heartbreaking struggles. In response, BASMAH has established orphan center schools in Rangpur, Narayanganj, and Jashore, while also extending care to Rohingya orphans in the camps.
Our orphan centers provide children with shelter, healthy meals, clothing, healthcare, and educationโgiving them the foundation for a better life. Guided by the teaching of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who reminded us of our duty to protect and support orphans, BASMAH is committed to uplifting every child in need.

How Does Orphan Care Work?
1. Pick a location
The Orphan Care program is currently active in Bangladesh. You can sponsor a child
2. Start your sponsorship with the first payment
You have the option of sponsoring an orphan for 1 month or for 1 year. Once you have completed your payment, your sponsorship journey will begin!
Please note that Orphan Profiles/Data will only be sent to donors sponsoring an orphan consecutively for 4 months or more
4. Welcome kit
As a sponsor, you will receive a welcome kit that will provide with information on the orphan and how your will donation will be us
3. Orphan is assigned
Within 5 months of your sponsorship start date, our programs team will pair you with an orphan(s) based on the country, sponsorship duration, and the number of orphans you have selected.
Please note that Orphan Profiles/Data will only be sent to donors sponsoring an orphan consecutively for 4 months or more
5. Receive annual updates on the child
At approximately the 12-month of your sponsorship, you will receive an annual report outlining how your support has been helping your sponsored orphan(s).
Please note that Annual Report will only be sent to donors sponsoring an orphan consecutively for 12 months or more.
