About Us
Since 2017, BASMAH USA has been serving Rohingya and other refugees in Bangladesh and globally. As many refugee families have resettled in the U.S. since 2023, BASMAH has expanded its efforts locally—focusing on education, development, and community support.
We’ve partnered with institutions like Mohammadia Madrasha in Michigan, the Islamic Center of Rowlett in Dallas, and the Islamic Center of New York in Buffalo to uplift and empower refugee communities across the country.

BASMAH-USA’s Refugee Program needs your support! Join us in helping these families settle into their new homes and adapt to life in their new community.
Mentor Program
Being a mentor can involve a variety of activities, such as monthly social visits, offering guidance on navigating the school system, or even exchanging recipes.
Sponsor Program
A monthly donation of $750 can provide essential items like two twin mattresses, kitchen and bathroom supplies, a microwave, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning products.
