Your Zakat Al-Fitr Spreads Joy
Bring the joy of Eid Al-Fitr to families around the world by paying Zakat Al-Fitr with Basmah! Zakat Al-Fitr is $12 per family Member and fitrana is due on every member of a household, including any children or elderly persons, before Eid prayer.
Give Fidyah and Kaffarah
Fidyah and Kaffarah provide vital support, especially for Rohingya Muslims. Kaffarah helps when fasts can’t be made up, while Fidyah is for missed fasts due to health reasons. Embracing these practices not only fulfills religious duties but also aids in providing nutritious meals to those in need.

At Basmah, ALL of our programs are zakat-eligible. That means your zakat can bring nutritious meals to families, sponsor an orphan or provide a well to a family in need.
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept crypto donations, however this is something we’re working on.
Basmah primarily focuses on implementing sustainable projects and programs to create long-term impact. We do not offer direct social assistance in the form of cash transfers or individual financial aid. Instead, we channel donations into carefully planned initiatives that aim to uplift entire communities, providing them with lasting solutions to improve their quality of life.

With a population of 164 million and recurrent natural disasters, many people, including children and the homeless, struggle to afford a proper meal.BASMAH is dedicated to reaching the “Hard to Reach People” who live with hunger, including poor slum dwellers and street people.

Water is essential, water is life. Many people still do not have access to clean water in remote and poor communities in Bangladesh. The women, children and the elderly suffer the most from the water crisis. Giving water is one of the best forms of service to the needy that one can provide. This is Sadaqah Jariya, providing a lifeline that keeps on giving water to needy communities.

Orphans & Helpless Children
Your small support can truly make a difference in ensuring a bright future for orphans and the helpless. There are many orphans and helpless children, especially in the Rohingya refugee camp, where the orphans are heartbreaking casualties. BASMAH has come forward and established orphan center schools in Rangpur, Narayanganj, and Mymensingh.
