BASMAH reserves the right to refuse donations designated for purposes outside our mission or that impose undue burdens or restrictions on use.

Restricted Gifts: When you specify that a gift is for a particular program (e.g., Zakat, Sadaqah, Qurbani, or educational sponsorship), we use it accordingly. If that program becomes fully funded, we reserve the right, with donor approval where required, to redirect the gift to another mission-aligned, high-priority area.

Payment Processing: Donations made through our website are processed securely via industry-standard third-party payment gateways. Your sensitive financial information is never stored directly on our servers.

Tax Deductibility: BASMAH is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Eligible U.S. donors will receive an IRS-compliant tax receipt, and contributions are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor for specific guidance.

Zakat and Sadaqah Compliance: In line with Islamic principles, BASMAH ensures that Zakat contributions meet Sharia guidelines and are distributed only to eligible recipients without undue delay. Zakat, Sadaqah, and Qurbani giving options are clearly distinguished on our donation pages.

3. Financial Stewardship and Transparency

BASMAH is committed to keeping fundraising and administrative costs low, dedicating the vast majority of donations to direct charitable services. We publish annual financial statements and IRS Form 990s, available on our website or upon request, and we conduct external audits or CPA reviews as appropriate to ensure compliance and integrity.

BASMAH offers various programs and events, including Rohingya refugee relief, orphan sponsorship, clean water, medical care, education, and seasonal campaigns such as Ramadan, Qurbani, and Zakat drives.

Registration: Participation in or registration for BASMAH programs and events is subject to availability and the specific guidelines of each program.

Code of Conduct: All participants, volunteers, and attendees are expected to adhere to Islamic values and the applicable code of conduct set by BASMAH. The administration reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation for anyone violating our policies.
