Whether it is the displacement of families in Gaza or the devastation of fire in Cox’s Bazar, our mandate is to serve humanity with swift, compassionate action. Disasters often arrive without warning, leaving the most vulnerable exposed to hunger, homelessness, and disease. However, unity is our greatest strength. Through the generosity of our donors, we have been able to respond immediately to crises across the globe, ensuring that no call for help goes unanswered.

Crisis Strikes Rohingya Refugee Camps

For the Rohingya refugees living in Cox’s Bazar, life is already a daily struggle for survival. Living in temporary shelters made of bamboo and plastic, millions are susceptible to the elements. This vulnerability turned into tragedy in March 2023, when a massive fire swept through the camps, displacing thousands and destroying what little they had left. The scale of the destruction was heartbreaking. Families who had already fled persecution in Myanmar watched their temporary homes turn to ash. In response, BASMAH mobilized immediately. Our teams on the ground delivered essential emergency relief, including food, clothing, and materials to rebuild shelters. Because of your support, we provided a lifeline to those who felt forgotten by the world.

Extending Hope to Palestine

Our compassion knows no borders. The ongoing crisis in Palestine has left countless families without access to basic necessities, including clean water and medical care. In alignment with our values of serving humanity, BASMAH has extended its emergency relief efforts to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Specifically, we have implemented critical water distribution projects, delivering 140,000 liters of clean water weekly to 5,000 people in Gaza. Amidst the hardship, your contributions have allowed us to provide a semblance of stability and health to a population under immense pressure.
